Poole Pottery Springtime Tableware

Springtime was one of a number of tableware patterns, designed for Poole Pottery in the "Style" shape. Amongst other popular patterns produced in this shape were Country Lane and Summer Glory.

Springtime was introduced in the 1970's and remained popular for several years. It is difficult to be very accurate about when the production ceased, as even after it was no longer supplied to shops and stores, it was still available for many years from the Poole Pottery shop on Poole Quay. However, what I can say with absolute certainty is that it has not now been manufactured for many years, and has become very difficult to find in any quantity in good condition.

That is one of the reasons that I am so delighted to be able to offer a reasonable quantity of it for sale on our web site at Replace Your China. This latest batch is in excellent condition, and I suspect that much of it has never been used. The only problem I had is that while I was still listing the new stock onto the web site, some of the items that I had listed first were already being sold.

If you are looking for items of Poole Pottery Springtime, make sure that you visit our website before the items are snapped up by somebody else.
Best Wishes

Denby Pottery Arabesque

Isn't is strange how some patterns of tableware are popular for a short while but then disappear completely? Other patterns are popular from the outset, but are still loved and sought after, many years after their production has ceased.

Denby Pottery Arabesque in definitely one of the latter. I suppose it is a bit like Marmite really; either you love it or you hate it. It is so striking and unusual that there is no "in between" in feelings about it. Arabesque was designed by Gill Pemberton and went into production in the 1960's and was not discontinued until 1984. Not many of the patterns currently being produced with be in production for a half of that time span.

Despite the fact that it has not been made for nearly a quarter of a century, Arabesque is still much sought after, both by people who use it on a daily basis and by collectors from around the world.

We have just managed to purchase a small amount of Arabesque and as usual much of it has been snapped up almost before we had finished listing in on the website.

If you are looking for items of this lovely set, visit our web site at http://www.replaceyourchina.com/denby-pottery-arabesque-16-c.asp before it all disappears.

Enjoy your tableware.

New Stock, Royal Doulton Carnation

Royal Doulton's Carnation pattern is one that we are always pleased to obtain.

We have just purchased a reasonably large consignment of Carnation, which looks to have had very little, if any wear at all. Some of it has been marked by Royal Doulton as "second quality" but frankly, you will need to examine it very carefully to find out why is was so designated. The "seconds" are clearly listed on our web site and are offered at a substantially reduced price.

Already many of these items have sold so do not miss this opportunity to top up your set, or better still, top up Mum's set for Mothers Day.

Just click on Royal Doulton Carnation to view our stock and prices.

Enjoy your tableware,

Regards

Chris

Denby Pottery, Arabesque, Fresh Stock Available

Denby Pottery have produced many designs over the years, but one of the best loved, and most easily recognised is "Arabesque".

It was designed by Gill Pemberton and first introduced in 1964. It was initially called "Samerkand" but this was then changed to "Arabesque". In the USA the pattern continued to be marketed as "Samerkand". Part of the charm of the range is that because the items were hand decorate, the patterning varied with every piece.

Arabesque with its distinctive, brown and gold patterning proved to be so popular that its production continued until 1984.

Replace Your China, is pleased to have been able to obtain a further selection Arabesque for our clients including some quite rare serving items, but do not wait to long to view them as they will soon be sold.

Poole Pottery Broadstone - Fresh Stock

Poole Pottery produced a range of patterns in the popular Compact shape. The shape was designed by Robert Jefferson in 1965. Amongst the popular ranges manufactured in this shape were Chestnut, Charcoal, Azure, Broadstone, Parkstone and Lakestone.

Broadstone was one of the most popular of these ranges produced by Poole Pottery and was sold in very large quantities. The pattern is still very much in demand to this day, even though it has not been manufactured for many years. We are therefore delighted to announce that we have just acquired a large quantity of Broadstone tableware, and it is now available on our web site at http://www.replaceyourchina.com/. However, many of these items will doubtless sell very quickly so do not delay in purchasing your requirements.

Have a great Christmas.

MARKS AND SPENCER HARVEST TABLEWARE

Marks and Spencer must be the most familiar of High Street names to most of us. The range of goods that they sell seems to be growing by the day.

One of the most popular ranges of tableware that has ever been sold by Marks and Spencer must surely be the Harvest pattern, manufactured for them by Hornsea Pottery. We always find that it is a good seller when we have it in stock, so I am particularly pleased to announce that we have just obtained a large quantity of this pattern in excellent condition and it is now available for purchase from our web site at Replace Your China web site at http://www.replaceyourchina.com/.

If you are lucky enough to own a set of this lovely Harvest tableware, make sure that you visit the web site and stock up while such excellent items are still available. It will pay to revisit the site over the next week or so, as we hope to be adding still further items shortly, but do not expect them to remain available for long. Just click on this Marks and Spencer Harvest link to view our current stock availability.
