Poole Pottery Stoneware Tortoise

POOLE POTTERY STONEWARE TORTOISE

I must admit that the stoneware animals and birds modelled by Barbara Linley-Adams for Poole Pottery hold a special spot in my heart. I think that these items just show how much the designer loved wildlife. Each model seems to have a life of its own.

Some collectors specialise in the models of birds and some try to collect the whole range that were produced. I like them all, but one of my favourites is the tortoise. When I was a child I had a tortoise and I can still visualise him when I look at Barbara Linley-Adams' creations. These Poole Pottery  stoneware masterpieces are approximately 6" long and 2.5" tall. They were produced by Poole Pottery between 1979 and 1989.

Make sure that you have got a Poole Pottery stoneware tortoise in your collection of ornaments.
We currently have just one in stock, so don't blame me if you miss the opportunity to purchase it.
