POOLE POTTERY BONE CHINA GOLDEN EYE GUINEA PIGS

Poole Pottery produced a range of bone china animals in 1985 and 1986. Most of these were based upon the moulds of animals produced in their stoneware range.

One of the most attractive of this range was the guinea pig. Like most of the items in this range it benefited from having its eyes painted gold, making this range very easily distinguished from those of other manufacturers. The guinea pig was originally modelled by Barbara Linley-Adams, with her usual care and love of the subject. It just under 5" in length and stands just under 2.75" tall.

At the time of going to press we do have one of these guinea pigs, together with many other Poole Pottery decorative items, available for sale on our website at www.replaceyourchina.com/poole-pottery-decorative-items-12-c.asp
