Denby Pottery, Arabesque, Fresh Stock Available

Denby Pottery have produced many designs over the years, but one of the best loved, and most easily recognised is "Arabesque".

It was designed by Gill Pemberton and first introduced in 1964. It was initially called "Samerkand" but this was then changed to "Arabesque". In the USA the pattern continued to be marketed as "Samerkand". Part of the charm of the range is that because the items were hand decorate, the patterning varied with every piece.

Arabesque with its distinctive, brown and gold patterning proved to be so popular that its production continued until 1984.

Replace Your China, is pleased to have been able to obtain a further selection Arabesque for our clients including some quite rare serving items, but do not wait to long to view them as they will soon be sold.
