Poole Pottery Twintone Mushroom and Sepia (C54)
Poole Pottery produced many colour combinations in their Twintone ranges. One of the most popular of those was Mushroom and Sepia (pattern code C54). Poole started producing this range before the Second World War, and then reintroduced it in the 1950's. Production continued until the early 80's.
The earlier production was in the Streamline shapes, very evocative of the period and still very much appreciated to this day. Later production was in the Contour shape, designed by Robert Jefferson.
We have recently obtained a quantity of items in Mushroom and Sepia and they can be seen at our web site by clicking here. Included are some really very attractive and unusual shells and early cheese dishes. Well worth a look.
Enjoy your tableware.
Regards
Chris
